ஸ்ரீநகரில் பந்தா செளக்கில் உள்ள சேவான் பகுதிக்கு அருகே காவல்துறை பேருந்து மீது பயங்கரவாதிகள் கண்மூடித்தனமாக துப்பாக்கிச்சூடு நடத்தியுள்ளனர். இதில் 14 காவலர்கள் படுகாயமடைந்துள்ளனர்.

இதனையடுத்து மருத்துவமனையில் காவல்துறையினர் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டனர். இதில் ஒரு உதவி ஆய்வாளர் மற்றும் தலைமைக் காவலர் என இருவர் சிகிச்சை பலனின்றி உயிரிழந்துள்ளார்.

இந்த சம்பவத்தில் உயிரிழந்த காவலர்களின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு இரங்கலையும், காயமடைந்தவர்கள் விரைவாக குணமடைய பிரார்த்திப்பதாகவும் பிரதமர் மோடி, ஜம்மு காரஷ்மீர் துணை நிலை ஆளுநர் மனோஜ் சின்ஷா, ராகுல் காந்தி உள்ளிட்டோர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
அதேபோல தாக்குத கண்டனம் தெரிவித்த அவர்கள், இதில் ஈடுபட்டவர்கள் மீது உரிய நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என்றும் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
